Top Ten 3-6 Month Baby Items

I can’t believe Marie just turned 6 months old. Where has the time gone!? She’s changed so much and is able to do so much more than before. I wanted to share my favorite items from the past few months. These are all things I used every day, absolutely loved and think are must haves for a 3-6 month old!

ONE - This portable highchair was gifted to us, and turned out to be one of my favorite items. We have a traditional highchair, but this one is portable and connects to almost any table or kitchen island. We recently traveled to visit my Mom and it gave us a place to feed her away from home.

TWO - We use the items in this kit all the time. The nail clippers are easy to use, the nasal aspirator work better than any others I’ve tried (way better than a suction bulb) and the head scrubber is great for preventing cradle cap and gently scrubbing your babies hair.

THREE - Marie outgrew her sit-up seat around four months and we started using this activity center. I looked at several different options and chose this one because of the adjustable platform. I love that the toys are removable so it can be cleaned it easily.

FOUR - We started solid food and I was not prepared for the mess that would occur while a baby learns to eat. haha! These bibs are my absolute favorite (and I’ve tried a ton). The adjustable neck strap allows them to be tight enough to prevent food from getting underneath and the silicone material can be easily washed or thrown in the dishwasher.

FIVE - Bye-bye swaddles, hello sleep sacks! I was gifted a ton of different options. I tried 5+ versions and ended up ordering more of this brand. They are incredibly soft, come in several weights (perfect for different seasons or home temperatures) and are available in a variety of colors.

SIX - Now that she is able to sit up (with a little assistance) I felt like it was time to upgrade her bath seat. I wanted something that was very secure and would keep her contained. Bath time is so fun because she can splash and play with toys while being completely supported.

SEVEN - I don’t know who loves this more, me or Marie. I noticed she enjoyed standing while being held, and after doing this for awhile with a 20lb baby I decided a jumper would be a better option, haha! Katie from Halfway Holistic recommend this one, and I couldn’t be happier with it!

EIGHT - My sister gave her this lovey when she was born. Aside from it being adorable she loves rubbing it on her face and I can tell it’s soothes her. I often put her down for nap with it to help her fall asleep and then sneak in and remove it from her crib.

NINE - I have to admit I wanted her to love these pacifiers because they are so cute, but they are also BPA free and come in tons of colors to match every outfit!

TEN - This play mat is worth every penny. It’s absolutely precious and provides so much entertainment. It’s great for tummy time because of all the fold out tabs in multiple colors and sensory activities. It also comes with a book that provides tips for how to play and interact with your baby. Bonus - the mat detaches and is machine washable. If you are looking for toys I highly recommend their subscription service.
