complete baby registry

My husband and I are expecting our first little one in just a few short weeks. We are beyond excited and with lots of research and advice from family and friends we feel ready and prepared. I talked with other Mom’s and relied a ton on my sister (mom of 2 boys) to help create a registry list with everything a first time Mom will need.

The opinions on the below products are my own and may contain affiliate links or Amazon Associate links.

Carseats & Strollers

UPPAbaby Mesa Infant Carseat - this is one item we went to the store to test drive. I was looking at a few different options, but found this one to be the lightest and easiest to carry in the crook of my arm.

UPPAbaby Mesa Infant Carseat Base - register for an extra base! It will save so much time moving the carseat from car to car.

SKIP*HOP Backseat Car Mirror - you’ll want to be able to see your little one with a quick glance while driving. I registered for two so we don’t have to move it from car to car.

UPPAbaby Easy-Fit Car Window Sunshade - I would suggest two of these as well.

Copper Pearl Cover - doubles as a carseat cover and nursing cover.

UPPAbaby CRUZ Stroller - this is another item I suggest trying to test drive. I went to the store set on the VISTA stroller, but shortly realized the CRUZ was much lighter and easier for me to collapse and maneuver in and out of the car on my own, and with just one child the CRUZ is the perfect size.

UPPAbaby Infant SnugSeat - if you plan on using the toddler seat of your UPPAbaby stroller you’ll need this snugseat to keep your infant supported.

UPPAbaby Snack Tray - you won’t need this for awhile, but it will come in handy later.

UPPAbaby Carry-All Parent Organizer - hooks right onto your stroller and perfect for all the little things you’ll want with you on the go.

The Mommy Hook - great for hanging bags on your stroller allowing you to be hands free.

Technology

Snoo Smart Sleeper - So many Mom’s raved about this one, but I couldn’t wrap my head around spending almost $1,300 on a bassinet so we opted for their rental program for just $112 a month. I felt like this was a great way to test out the Snoo!

Nanit Plus Video Monitor - I let my husband take the lead on picking out a monitor and we ultimately landed on this one. We loved that we can monitor the baby via our phones or iPad. It also comes with a feature to track your babies breathing, which will help this momma feel a little better during the night. It comes in two styles, a wall mount or stand. I chose the stand since her nursery has wallpaper and I didn’t want it to get damaged.

Nanit Plus Breathing Wear - You’ll need these swaddles to take advantage of the tracker that detects our baby’s breathing.

Nanit Multi-Stand Travel Mount - this allows you to take your monitor on the go and use it anywhere.

Hatch Baby Rest Sound Machine - I loved that we could control this sound machine from our phones and it functions as a nightlight.

Baby Shusher - creates a soothing shushing sound with built in timer and great for on the go.

Frida Baby Portable Sound Machine - I plan to keep this in my diaper bag and to use for traveling.

Fridababy 3-in-1 Humidifier - a nursery must have.

Seating & Activity

Bumbo 3-in-1 Multi Seat - I chose this version over the Bumbo floor seat because it has more leg room (it will fit them longer) and comes with a tray which is great for feeding.

4moms mamaRoo 4 Classic Infant Seat - I was torn between this item and a traditional swing, based on limited floor space in our living room I felt like this would be a better fit. It takes up much less space and you can operate it from your phone.

BABYBJORN Bouncer Balance Soft - it offers 3 different positions and a soft bounce to soothe your baby.

BABYBJORN Flying Friends Toy - this toy attaches to your bouncer to give your little one something to play with and stimulation.

Fisher Price Lamb Sit-Me-Up Floor Seat - this seat has great support compared to other ones on the market. It also has an easily removable cover for washing.

SKIP*HOP Silver Lining Cloud Activity Center and Exerciser - it converts to three different stages to keep up with your growing baby and provides tons of entertainment.

Loverly Play Gym - I loved the design of this play gym and it’s perfect for tummy time and continues to grow with them as they sit up.

Boppy Pillow - great for nursing, tummy time and propping up your baby. I chose the naked pillow and purchased adorable covers on Etsy.

DockATot Deluxe - another new Mom must have and creates a safe docking station for your little one.

4moms Breeze Plus Playard - this playard comes with a bassinet and changing insert. Perfect to use when you first get home from the hospital or to keep in a different room of your house for easy diaper changes.

Ergobaby Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh Baby Carrier - sturdy and supportive carrier for longer strolls and grows with your baby up to 45lbs.

Ergobaby Aura Wrap Carrier - If you plan to baby wear this is the perfect wrap for everyday use.

Diapers & Changing

Freshly Picked Diaper Bag - definitely a splurge, but since it’s replacing my purse I felt it was worth the investment. So cute!

Summer Infant ChangeAway! Portable Changing Kit - the Freshly Picked Diaper Bag comes with a changing pad, but I loved the pockets this one provided to store wipes and diapers.

Ubbi Diaper Pail - loved the look of this simple diaper pail it blends into the nursery.

Ubbi Diaper Pail Plastic Bag - you’ll need these inserts.

Keekaroo Peanut Changer - this is a changing game changer and came highly recommended from other new Moms. No cover needed and wipes clean!

Munchkin Mist Wipe Warmer - this is definitely an optional item, but I opted for one since we are bringing our baby home in January I thought it might be a good investment. I also liked this one because it has a moisture reserve to keep the wipes from drying out.

Aquaphor - a changing must for diaper rash.

Boudresux’s Butt Paste - another great diaper rash brand.

Diapers - Can’t beat Pampers.

These are all great ones to try: Philips Avent Soothie Pacifiers, NUK Newborn Pacifiers, Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier, and two others which are so cute and come in a ton of colors Cutie PAT pacifier and Bibs pacifiers.
