Top Ten 0-3 Month Baby Items

There’s nothing sweeter than those first few months at home with a newborn. Now that I’ve made it past the sleepless nights and newborn fog I wanted to share my top ten favorite baby items for 0-3 months. These are all things I used every day, absolutely loved and think are must haves for a new mama!

ONE - At six weeks old we moved Marie to her own room and crib and I loved having this monitor. The picture is incredibly clear and I love that it syncs with my phone so I didn’t have to carry another device around with me during the day. It also records activities like sleep, awake times and your interactions with the crib to provide helpful insights. My favorite feature was the breathing monitor! If you use their swaddles the camera will track and show you your babies breaths per minute and alert you if they stop breathing. Hands down my favorite purchase and gave me so much peace of mind!

TWO - Hours of her life were spent in this bouncer. She loved sleeping in it and being able to sit up and look around the room. I love that I could easy take it anywhere in the house and even set her on the kitchen counter while I cooked or ate. She absolutely loved this thing!

THREE - Whether you’re bottle feeding or breastfeeding, I highly recommend a bottle warmer. I love this version because it warms a bottle in around 3 minutes (awesome for middle of the night feedings), has an automatic shut off (trust me you’ll want this! haha) and fits most bottles sizes.

FOUR - Bathing a newborn can be intimidating. I loved this bath because it was sturdy and she felt very secure. My favorite feature was the holes in the base that allowed water and soap to flow through (as opposed to flexible rubber or foam baths). It fit in our kitchen sink and bathtub so it was able to grow with her longer.

FIVE - Hands down the best sound machine and doubles as a nightlight. It has multiple sound and color options. I love the range of volume levels and the best part is you can control it all from your phone and change settings as needed vs. having to sneak back into your babies room!

SIX - Once she got a little more head control she enjoyed this sit-me-up seat. She loved the toy attachments and I loved that I could sit in front of her to play vs. always holding her. Bonus features - the cover is washable and the tray is removable.

SEVEN - This wipeable changing pad is a game changer, haha! It’s made of thick foam, waterproof and comfortable for baby. It makes cleaning up messes so much easier (and trust me there will be a lot of them). I loved not having to wash changing pad covers because of leaks or blow outs.

EIGHT - I wanted a diaper bag that would also work as my purse and this one fit the bill. It’s stylish and doesn’t look like bulky a diaper bag. I love that I can wear it as a backpack and be hands free when needed. It has loads of pockets, comes with a changing pad and is available in tons of colors.

NINE - My favorite organizational hack for babies is this caddy. I had one in our bedroom and living room and stocked them with diapers, wipes, butt paste, pacifiers, burp cloths, lotion, hand sanitizer, nail clippers, etc. It will save you thousands of trips up and down the stairs or running from room to room!

TEN - I wanted to carry Marie so I could be hands free while doing things around the house. I didn’t want to wear a bulky carrier so opted for a wrap. This one is comfortable, stretches and grows with your baby and feels very snug and secure with out ridged straps.
